The image of the lion speaks to everything in the short story â€Å"A Lion on the Freeway†. It was composed by Nadine Gordimer in her short story book called The Embrace of a Soldier. Gordimer was an African essayist, and her accounts have been converted into numerous dialects including English for some individuals to appreciate.      The story â€Å"A Lion on the Freeway† is about a lion which has gotten away onto the interstate. Gordimer portrays the view of a town with a zoo in it and how the fundamental character can generally hear the creatures making clamor, particularly the lion. This savagely depicted story is short, yet makes a significant point about the lion when all is said in done.      To Gordmer, the lion is an image of wild force, and its unique home in Africa was additionally where this creator once lived.
